 "Tannery Cottage Transformations has evolved from my passion for discovering tired but well-loved, good quality second-hand pieces of furniture and accessories, to restore, hand-paint and transform into items which are unique and revitalised, but still retain their used character." --

My inspiration for colour, finish, texture and choice of materials originates from vintage themes, to create well-worn, well-loved pieces, given a new lease of life, that will compliment any home.

Each item is sympathetically sourced from within Somerset and the South-West, restored and hand-painted to a high standard. The paint is carefully selected from manufacturers with a high regard for environmental awareness and a reputation for quality, employing traditional techniques and natural pigments to create a rich depth of colour.

A range of finishes and textures, including colour washed, distressed, stencilled, crackle glazed and sponged are used, to match the character of each piece, creating beautiful shabby chic styles for the home or as unique gifts for friends and family.

In addition to hand-painting furniture and accessories, I also make vintage-style bunting, using fabric remnants, to a colour, style and length of your choice.
